Jaz "Byahko"
Jaz "Byahko" is a fourth-year otaku tattooer, specializing in anime, video-game, and illustrative character portrait tattoos. She loves nerding out and tattooing a Sugimori-style Pokemon piece, or can create an original design based on your favorite character or unique idea. Byahko's main focus is on bright and bold illustrative colored pieces, but she also loves doing soft black and gray, or heavy black blast-over pieces. Her style of work is influenced by 90’s/2000's era, retro shoujo-style Anime, Pokemon, Sonic, and other alternative/kawaii style fashion and pop-culture themes. She also highly enjoys creating expressive original characters, stylistically inspired by the era of series like: Tokyo Mew Mew, Card Captor Sakura, DNAngel, and FLCL. Byahko's professional background includes training under artists including Tony Nguyen and Billy Martinez, as well as attending art courses at Grossmont/Cuyamaca College in San Diego, California. She completed her apprenticeship at Reflection Tattoo in 2021 and has been a full time tattoo artist since.
